Webb8 juni 2024 · I have a driver package whose INF sets PnPLockDown = 1 in the inf. However, I occasionally see reboots are required following a driver update. Webb3 sep. 2024 · 1. Like Anders said, use the test signature. It is the default for new projects. Go to properties -> Driver signing -> General, and back change sign mode to Test Sign if it's not. Then right click the .inf -> install (on the target computer). In your case you are passing "root/MyFirstDriver" to devcon, but you have defined the id in the inx/inf file to be the similar but not identical string "root\MyFirstDriver".
