Now the results:S30V made 300 cuts through the 3/8 rope before it would no longer slice clean. Cruwear made 270 cuts. Yes, probably true, though Crucible's data sheet for Rex 45 shows that M4 at 65 is significantly tougher than Rex 45 at 67. That M4 Para 3 in the test was probably in the 62-64 range, the Rex 45 maybe 66.

The 440V knives I've had owned have had extremely long lasting edges and were very challenging to sharpen. I also know the PM2 is a far better slicer than the 940, but the 940 is an awesome working blade.
